But guys this totally makes sense because as we know, Chavez’s base is mostly constituted of white Venezuelans while Capriles had his base among the afrodescendiente and mestizo populations so if we want to be good allies we should really prioritize the voices of the PoC opposi…. wait…. no, it’s the other way around huh?
Can I also add that this whole “waaaaah look at all these privileged white leftists drooling over Chavez thing” is bullshit; I went to a very large pro-Chavez event in NYC and it was overwhelmingly Latin@s there.
